Nanjing University recently completed work on the new IIES facilities at the NJU School of the Environment building. The University celebrated the opening with a reception and tour of the facilities on June 25. IIES Director, Douglas Evans attended the event, along with representatives from five IIES Chinese member universities, representatives from the University of Edinburgh, and the Low Carbon College in Shanghai. In addition to IIES participants, other guests included representatives from the Canada China Business Council (CCBC) and local environmental industry representatives.
The facilities feature offices for the director, associate director, meeting rooms and common rooms for faculty and students.
