Toulon, France - July 3, 2026
Rewrite the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to place all living beings at the heart of global priorities: this is the ambition carried by the Earth Assemblies (Assemblée de la Terre), launched by several countries as a continuation of United Nations work. As spaces for exchange and reflection, they provide an opportunity to discuss reshaping the SDGs in an ecocentric way in preparation for the 2030 Earth Summit.
In France, the Earth Assembly is coordinated by Caroline Regad and Cédric Riot, professors at the University of Toulon and experts in the UN Harmony with Nature programme. These Assemblies combine civic awareness and scientific rigor to develop balanced proposals that match the scale of the challenges.
On July 3, 2026, the Earth Assembly – France presents the outcomes of its first year of work related to Nature.
