Toulon, France - July 3, 2026

In line with General Assembly resolutions and the UN Secretary-General’s reports on Harmony with Nature, Mother Earth Assemblies are being established around the world, bringing together the scientific rigor of academic institutions, research centers, as well as ancestral knowledge of Indigenous Peoples, and civil society organizations expertise.

As hubs for dialogue and reflection, the Mother Earth Assemblies aim to rewrite the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from an ecocentric perspective. The official launch of these newly formed Assemblies took place in France on July 2, 2025, at the University of Toulon. The goal is to build sustainable solutions to face the challenges of the 21st century.

The World Café on June 17, 2026, is an opportunity to collectively participate in the debates, sharing diverse perspectives on several thematic challenges regarding the future of the SDGs.
