International Young Scientists Workshop on Soil Contamination and Remediation

The workshop will address soil contamination and remediation, with special focus on the reclamation and valorization of mine sites. The objective is to bring together scientists to exchange about their experience and projects on the following subjects of mutual interest: functioning and evolution of mine soils/brownfields, geochemistry, environmental and ecological issues, site restoration, biomass production, agromining, political and regulatory issues. Industrial partners will be welcomed to discuss about the technologies in use and in perspective for soil remediation, restoration, and reuse of industrial and mine sites.
