On November 27, 2026, the 39th CAWQ Eastern Canadian Symposium on Water Quality Research will be held at the Université Laval campus.
The Symposium is now calling for abstracts for poster and oral presentations.
The symposium aims to bring together people in diverse fields of water quality management and research to present achievements and innovations in science, engineering, and policy, and further the exchange of information for public benefit in Canada between universities, consultants, industries, and governments.
Symposium themes include (but are not limited to):
- Water quality management and monitoring
- Emerging contaminants, pollutants and treatment
- Water and wastewater technologies and innovation
- Environmental science, engineering and policy
- Risk, health, sustainability and resilience
Data, modelling, decision support and applications
Sensing and instrumentation
Additionally, an event for students and early-career professionals will be held at the Université Laval campus on Thursday, November 26.
