Trent Student Wins New France-Canada Fellowship for Research Abroad

As part of a program to facilitate and strengthen scientific collaborations between researchers in France and Canada, the Embassy of France in Canada, in partnership with Campus France, have set up the High Level Scientific Fellowship. This prestigious fellowship has been awarded to PhD Student, Minh Duong, to fund her 2 months of research work with Professor Stéphane Mounier at the university of Toulon.

2025 International Graduate Student Forum in South Africa

The 8th International Graduate Student Forum, co-hosted by the University of the Witwatersrand and UNA Europa, convened this year in the scenic setting of Acornhoek, South Africa, following the 9th Annual Science & Policy Workshop. Hosted at the Wits Rural Facility, the forum welcomed 83 participants representing 18 institutions across 10 countries.

Trent University: Recipient of Queen Elizabeth Scholars Program Grant

We are excited to announce that Trent University in collaboration with the IIES has been selected as one of the recipients of the prestigious 2025 Queen Elizabeth Scholars (QES) grant program. With this grant, the IIES will coordinate the United Global Plan of Action for One Health and One Climate initiative, which involves critical collaborations with partners in Chile, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Vietnam and beyond.
