We are saddened to hear of the passing of Professor Ed Bouwer last month and wish to express our condolences to the Bouwer family and Johns Hopkins University faculty and students.
Ed Bouwer was a professor at Johns Hopkins University for over thirty years and was chair of the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering for the past eight years. His research interests included drinking water and wastewater treatment processes, as well as microbial process engineering, and contaminant transport and fate.
