This partnership will enhance INRS’s capacity to connect with an international network of researchers, fostering knowledge exchange and collaborative projects that address critical areas such as climate resilience, water management, and environmental remediation. By joining forces with the IIES, we aim to further integrate our expertise and student training capacities into global efforts to tackle environmental challenges, creating impactful solutions for both local and international communities. As part of this new agreement, an INRS delegation participated in a field trip in Vietnam and Graduate Student Forum in Hong Kong in October 2024.

During our time in Vietnam, we embarked on a series of enriching experiences blending nature, culture, and academic engagement. We took a cable car to the summit of Fansipan Mountain, followed by a walking tour through local villages.

In Hong Kong, we concluded with the Graduate Student Forum, facilitating intellectual exchange at HKUST, an IIES member university. Read more about the forum here.
